Detox Program

Under the direction of Cliffside Malibu’s medical doctors, we offer medically supervised detox program for incoming residents. The detox program is designed to safely and comfortably detox residents from substances still present in the body. Using the latest medications such as, but not limited to, Suboxone and Subutex (buprenorphine*, or “bupe”), Cliffside’s medical doctors transition residents away from chemical dependencies to a stage where they can begin primary treatment.

*Currently, buprenorphine is available only through certified physicians. For more information about burprenorphine, please review the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) website.
