Group Facilitator

Robyn is a licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Smith College. She has an extensive background working with clients suffering from substance abuse, addictions and co-occurring disorders. Robyn served for more than a decade as Program Director of a dual diagnosis day treatment intensive program in Los Angeles providing clinical supervision of all clinical services, program curriculum development, and treatment for individuals suffering with addictions, BiPolar I disorder, PTSD, depression, stress, grief and loss, anxiety and trauma issues. Robyn has also served as Clinic Director for a dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug rehab residential program in Los Angeles. In addition to working for Cliffside Malibu as Director of Therapeutic Services, Robyn has a private practice treating individuals, couples, and families, who suffer with addictions, depression, anger, anxiety, trauma, stress, separation, divorce, and blended family issues. Robyn is also a seasoned group facilitator and utilizes a variety of techniques in her work with both clients and their families.

The personal and professional rewards Robyn has experienced through 18 years of personal recovery, and providing program direction, supervision, and psychotherapy to clients, have made her eager to continue working in this way to best provide for others in need of recovery and mental health services.
