Remember, substance abuse victims are sick both in body and in mind. Real recovery can only occur when they get better on both fronts. Substance abuse treatment that fails to account for that fact can’t ever be expected be effective over the long-run.

Many more of them don’t. The difference is more important than any in the world. Choosing a substance abuse treatment program will be the most important thing you ever do. With so much to lose, and so much more to win, you can’t afford to make anything less than an intelligent decision.
